DONATING YOUR HAIR
COLLECTING HAIR FOR A WIG

We are always grateful to accept clean virgin (untouched) hair that has not been processed, dyed or permed so we can help those with financial struggles get their wig made for less money.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept bleached hair due due complications it causes in the manufacturing issues. However if the hair was bleached years ago and has grown out, it is fine to donate.
We accept hair 9” and longer measured tip to tip which is the minimum length used in wigs. Layered hair is acceptable if the longest layer is 9 inches. We accept Gray hair 9” or longer.
Layered hair must be divided into pony tails.
Curly hair must be pulled straight to measure 9”.
We accept all colors and textures in good condition.
Hair cut over 1 year ago is unusable if it has been stored in a ponytail or braid/s.
Hair that is swept off the floor is unusable because it is not bundled correctly or in braid/s.
Hair that has been shaved off and not in a ponytail or braid/s is not usable.
If shaving your head, first separate into ponytails and cut off first as instructed below.
We cannot accept dreadlocks. Our factories are not able to use them in wigs or hair pieces. We also cannot accept wigs, falls, hair extensions or synthetic hair.
Hair must be in a ponytail or braid before it is cut. (See instructions below)
Hair must be been washed and conditioned and completely dry before it is mailed in.
